Our son was diagnosed with moderate-to-severe hearing loss in the second grade. Since then he's also been diagnosed with Autism, as well as a host of medical issues which include severe asthma and osteopenia. He is in therapy twice a week, and he sees specialists at least 4 times a month. He's bright, funny, and lovable, but he still struggles daily. This year we found a terrific program, Kids and Canines, and we've been approved for a service dog to help. However, the dogs are expensive, and they can't offer financial aid toward the purchase of the dog. We are asking for donations to help our family pay for the dog, and every dollar donated will go directly to the program. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and if you do donate, please know that our son's life (and ours!) will be forever changed because of your help.
